No more visa issues! Yay!

I got a job!

Today, I am very happy. I just got back from a job interview at an international school downtown. I got the job! So now, they will fly me to Bangkok next Thursday, to get a 6 month multiple-entry visa! I am so glad. At first, I did not want a paid job, as I wanted to volunteer here. But then, I realised I'd have to return to Singapore for at least 6 weeks before I could get a 3 month meditation visa approved in Canberra. So now, I can stay longer, and volunteer 1- 2 days a week, on my weekends. Sayardaw said he would prefer this. Now, I will not be living off the monks, and I will be able to stay with them for a longer time to gradually improve their English. I will also continue to get lessons in Buddhism from Sayardaw once a week. Everything that could have gone right, did. I love this country, its people and it's magic. I am nervous about going to Thailand, and only have one page left in my passport, but I'm hoping it should be okay. As I am there in person, I'll beg them to use the page opposite my passport photo, which technically should not be used. I will go with the principal, Daniel to Bangkok as he is doing some interviews there. I pray everything works out, so far it's going well. I'm so relieved.
